The manipulation of time may not be an entirely unique concept (even Ratchet & Clank are getting in on the action this month), but nonetheless, Raven's Singularity follows the adventures of US Air Force pilot Nate Renko, who's sent in to investigate the island's spooky goings-on before stumbling across the Time Manipulation Device. It may not have a creative bone in its body, but from what we've played, Singularity promises o be an engaging title akin to BioShock.

It should come as no surprise to learn that cinema's big Christmas hit is getting the videogame treatment, but don't give up hope yet, as we're hoping for another impressive King Kong-esque videogame translation from Ubi for James Cameron's latest. Coming complete with support for stereoscopic 3D, it should also be quite the visual treat too- provided you've got the setup, of course!
Publisher: LucasArts | ETA: 2010
BioWare finally unveiled the Jedi class this month and unsurprisingly it looked absolutely awesome! There's nothing in the universe as empowering as a lightsaber and we finally get to wield on in an MMO, with a whole range of Force powers also on hand. Get your ridiculous whooshing sounds at the ready!
Publisher: Rockstar | ETA: TBA 2010
Another of this year's Christmas casualties, Read Dead Redemption's now set to go toe-to-toe with the rest of 2009'a rejects. Using GTA IV's RAGE engine, RDR features an impressive open-world set in the Old West. There'll be gun-slinging, horse riding and - no doubt - plenty of train robbing when Red Dead makes its next-gen debut next year.

Happy days for Cryptic. Aside from announcing that their other MMOG Champions Online has reached one million characters, Star Trek Online has entered the crucial phase of closed beta testing. No release date has been announced, although serves look set to go live before April 2010.

Oh the irony. Having already been passed from one development studio to another, I Am Alive's latest delay is a worrying sign that Ubisoft's survival-adventure may be struggling to keep its own head above water. Originally due earlier this year, we're not getting our hopes up for seeing IAA any time soon, but if it does ever make it out, we can be sure of a unique gaming experience as we fight for survival on the destroyed city streets of Chicago following an horrific earthquake.
